The way clubs welcome and look after their referees is so important. It has a real impact — not just on the experience of the officials, but on the Society’s ability to retain and recruit referees to meet the ongoing demand. The Whistler’s Trophy is more than just recognition — it reflects the true spirit of rugby: respect, sportsmanship, and community.
