Every year, the Kent Society of Rugby Football Union Referees presents one of the most highly prized awards among Kent clubs — the Whistlers’ Trophy. This prestigious award recognises the club that has shown the greatest hospitality and respect to visiting referees throughout the season. Following each match, referees are asked to assess the hospitality provided by the home club and how well they were welcomed on the day.
